A VERY MERRY X-MAS

Alright so I know I am a few days behind on my blogging, but I forgot! I worked X-mas eve day, so I opened the bar and worked until about 4...not bad but while I was working Adam was working on putting together a big 12ft trampoline that the girls got for X-mas morning, I think it only took him about 5hrs with only 1 boo-boo! But let me just tell you that Kenzie most of all is in love with having it right in our own backyard! My dad and Betty came over x-mas eve and we did presents and then the girls went to bed and I stayed up and wrapped until about midnight! Talk about waiting till the last minute. Christmas Morning......

We had a fabulous Christmas, other than Haylee waking up x-mas morning with 103.5 fever. We gave her some Motrin and she ended up perking within about a half hour. The girls opened all their presents and Kenzie played Santa and passed out all the presents. After we were all done my mom and bob, great grammie and Joel came over and we had turkey dinner with Mashed pot. and green bean casserole! YUMMY!! We had done Christmas a few days prior with Laura and Fam and Mark and Stacie were in town, and we also went to see Santa, Haylee freaked and would not sit on his lap but Oh well, there's always next year!!

All in all it was a great Christmas, but I will be honest I am ready for 2008 to be over, this year was just too much for me to handle and I am ready for 2009 to be much better!!

Everyone taking a little rest before the Family comes over!!

My Baby Turns 4!!!!
So Yesterday McKenzie turned 4! Oh My Gosh....I still can't believe my baby is 4yrs. old! She had school in the morning, which was fun because her teacher made her a birthday crown, that she literally did not take off until she crawled into bed last night! All of her class sang to her and she loved it. My mom and grandma and myself along with Haylee picked her up from school and headed off to Disneyland(which she had no idea about) She was so excited when she saw where we were! Kenzie absolutely is in love with D-land!
I was pretty excited too, since all the years growing up in California I have never seen D-land at X-mas time. It was BEAUTIFUL, everything was decorated and HUGE trees everywhere, all the characters were dressed up in Christmas outfits and Christmas music playing throughout!
I will tell you, one of things about Disneyland that I love the most is seeing the amazement and joy in my kids eyes! Everything is larger than life to them and literally brought tears to my eyes a few times throughout the day because of the look in their eyes! We stayed all day until the park closed and watched the parade which was Fabulous and the fireworks show, and then it snowed on Main St.!!
We had such a wonderful day and now it's just another year passed:(
The beginning of our day!!

The Amazing tree on main st.

Next on our list is a big Birthday party at the gymnastics center on Sunday with about 20 kids and their parents. I know some people think 20 kids for a 4yr. old's birthday, but Birthdays to me are special they come once a year and I always grew up knowing that my day was a special one, my parents always made sure that our birthdays were amazing and I love to do the same for Adam and my kids! Here are some pics of our day!
This smile never left Kenzie's face for 1 second!!During the Fireworks, They were loud!!

Kenzie how old are you???

The end of our long day!!

Fresh Beginnings!!
So for those of you you who don't know, we just recently made a very difficult move in our lives! We moved from our home in Mission Viejo to a house in Rancho Santa Margarita. This last year has been a very challenging one for our family, but we are pulling through. In this world today sadly a lot of families have been put in the same devastating situation we were in, we had to give our home back to the bank and it then up for auction and got SOLD to an investment company!! Just to be clear we did everything within our power to save what we had worked so hard for, but in the end even the miracle workers of the business got told the same things we were getting told, there is nothing you can do and you are better off just walking away! Seriously walk away from the 1st home we bought, and brought our kids home from the hospital to this house. In the end we know we made the right decision for our family, we were drowning and no one would throw us a life preserver. Don't get me wrong I am not throwing out the whoa is me card, because we signed on the loan that we did, but the business that Adam is in is not a good one and when you go from making a lot to a little, your bills don't magically disappear.
Packing up and leaving that house was extremely difficult and I shed a lot of tears over it, but I still have my family and we are STRONG and we are now trying to move on and move forward. The girls are adjusting very well and thankfully we found a place that would take Jax and Miss cleo.
We are all doing good, healthy and together and in the end that is all that matters!!

SAN JUAN MISSION
So I have decided to do some completely new Photo Walls in my house. I am going to 1 of just the girls and Adam and I, and then 1 of friends and family! So I needed some help, my girlfriend Mary is taking a full load of photography classes at Saddleback, so I enlisted her help and she is now going to be my personal Family photographer! She got some awesome pics and today was just the first a few trips for my wall. We started out at the San Juan Mission, if you have never been, which I had not. The architecture is amazing and there are some beautiful backdrops there. I just got a few in the background of her taking all the pics of me and the girls. She used a few different cameras and got color and blk/white. Kenzie and her friends Sam and Scarlett(Mary's twins)

Just one of the many beautiful buildings!!

One of my Fav's(I love baby feet)

On our way to go get chocolate shakes when the day was over!

Mckenzie was so fabulous today, she took 100 pics and did any pose we wanted her to do, she was my true little model, and she loved every moment of it! It was so adorable!!

So I didn't get the good ones but she got some really great ones and I can't wait to get them back! Our next outing is going to be to the beach and then to the park with the girls wearing Tutu's!

Also it is almost x-mas card time, and this year I will get a fantastic one, mark my words!!

First day of Pre-school......
I can't believe the day has come, my little monkey started Pre-school today. She was so excited, that's all we have talked about all summer. I had put Kenz in summer camp this year the same days an times that she was going to be going to school to kind of get her adjusted to being away from me for hours, and I an so glad that I did because I think it made all the difference. She gave us a hug and a kiss and she was off and never looked back. Adam kept trying to peek in and and see her, so that was really cute and sweet. My baby is getting bigger and in a couple more years Laura and I will sending off the next batch of Pre-schooler's. Haylee and Jack will go to school at the same time in a measly 2 more years...OMG!!!

What does the future hold....
So with all the Olympics we have been watching the last few weeks, Haylee has been trying to decide what she wants to do with her life, I mean she's already 1!!

Maybe she will be a pilot and fly an airplane....

Maybe she take care of hurt and helpless animals......

Maybe she will be a race car driver, or a stunt driver....

Maybe she will be a swimsuit model......

but in the end, we decided that she was gonna be a gold medalist in the 2020 Olympics!!!

Arts-N-Crafts

So yesterday we had our babysitter come over(ALI) to watch the girls. O.K. so I signed Adam and I up to go and listen to one of those timeshare presentations, in hopes of winning 100K!! I mean If we would have won 90 min. would have been worth it. I entered one of those drawings at the mall a few months back and so they called, and told me I was guaranteed 1 of 5 prizes! 100K, a new car, a cruise to Mexico, a trip to Hawaii with airfare or a trip to Vegas w/ airfare. So Adam was tortured the whole time, but we won a trip for 2 to Vegas for 2 nights and also a bonus gift of a trip to somewhere w/ just accommodations...we have a few choices but I think we are gonna do Big Bear in a few months so we can take the girls to the snow this year! I think it was worth every minute....2 vacays!

Anyways while Miss Ali was here her and Kenzie did some projects and they turned out very beautiful.....here are some pics

1st Birthday Party!!!
So we had Haylee's birthday party yesterday, and it was great. I think everyone had a good day and Haylee got some great stuff! It's still hard for me to believe that my baby is one, but I guess that's what happens, they grow...they get older, look at Kenzie she's gonna be 4 this year and starting pre-school in a few weeks. Time flies when your an adult and your not waiting for Santa to slide down your chimney!:)

So to all the baker's out there, you will know what I am talking about. I was going to make haylee ice cream cone cupcakes. So you make the batter as usual and pour it into the ice cream cones and bake. East right. My mom use to make them for us when we were kids. Well I'm not really sure what happened cause they didn't quite turn out the way I had planned. But it's not me cause I did make a mini cake out of the same stuff...let's just clarify NOT MY FAULT!!
I can Hear you laughing!!

Oh well, better luck next time!
