Happy Halloween......Carving Pumpkins and Trick -r-Treating..

A few days ago we carved our pumpkins with Laura and the kids, actually Adam did the carving and Kenzie just played! But they all turned out really great and we always have fun carving the SCARY faces!!
I love Halloween, especially now that I have kids, because I love dressing them up just as much as I love to dress up. Except this year I was a bit Bah-hum bug....I just had no time to think about my costume. Adam hates to dress up and refuses to do it, even though I usually give it a shot!
OH WELL!!My little Snow White.....McKenzie absolutley could not wait to wear her costume and go get candy. And then trick-r-treating time came she said she couldn't walk and her feet did not work! Go figure I carried her through out the neighborhoods and she only walked up to the houses! But it was still pretty darn adorable! Haylee was a pumpkin for her 1st halloween, and looked so adorable, but of course she slept through her whole 1st halloween! I thought it was super cute b/c Kenzie was a pumpkin for her 1st halloween too!

McKenzie Halloween 05', she was 10 1/2 months old and Haylee halloween 07', she is 2 1/2 months old!!

A Day of Make Believe and Fun...

Today was all about FUN!! We had one of our many dress-up days and played around most of the day!! Kenzie has the most vivid imagination ever, I love her energy and her enthusiasum for life...I know she's only 3 but she is so absolutley amazing! Today she was a fairy princess and we hid from the make believe monsters in our front yard!

Then we headed off to the mall to walk around a bit and have some lunch, she payed at their little play zone and we went to visit the puppys at the pet store(like we always do).

A Birthday Weekend!!

Happy Birthday Adam...31 Years Young!

This weekend, Saturday we just relaxed and hung out at the house getting stuff done around here, my dad and his girlfriend Betty came over to wish Adam a HappyBirthday.

Sunday was Adam 31st Birthday....so me and the girls let him sleep in (like always, that is nothing new) and then we made him breakfast. He then had his choice of things he wanted to do all day and wouldn't you know it, he wanted to preesure wash the driveway and go get his car washed....Adam loves doing those things and thinks their relaxing! That evening McKenzie and Haylee went over to our neighbors house and we went out to dinner and to the Ducks Hockey game. We had a great night, except that the Ducks lost in a shootout, you can't win em' all...except now he can always say that 2007 on his birthday the Boston Red Sox swept the World Series! Overall a great weekend, and for those of you who don't know, last season the guys got to go to the Stanley cup party at the Neidermeyers house(above).

PUMPKIN PATCH AND PONY RIDES.....

We went to the pumkin patch with Laura, Doug and all the kiddies and had a great time! The kids ran around and played, they won stuffed animals that cost $1, but it actually cost us $20...you know knock down all the milk bottles!HaHa
McKenzie rode the ponies and wanted to take one home....I keep telling her to talk to her Grandma Buns (that is what we call Bonnie).
We went and had dinner afterwards, and overall had a really great night.
McKenzie absolutley cannot wait for halloween, she wants to wear her costume everyday....so stay tuned for Pics of her and Haylee in their costumes!

This was over the weekend...10/20/2007

It has been a pretty crazy week!

So today we are going on day 5 of fire watch, and things all around southern Cali are doing better, except for a select few of the 17 fires that were burning. The Irvine fire has gone from 50% contained as of sunset last night to 30% contained this morning, last night it made a jump into the Cleveland National Forest, and was getting closer to us. I don't believe it will hit our area, but nobobody thought it would get as big as it has either, so you never know. The sickest part about this fire is it was an act of arson...HORRIBLE!! We just have to keep watching the news and hope they get things under control. Also the Camp Pendelton fire as of last night had 0% containment but they are working on it. Lake arrowhead area is still burning out of control and San Diego County is the worst of all! It is all very sad and devestaing to those family's who have lost their homes. To all of those who don't live here, I know it seems like it is in our backyards, but I assure you we are all o.k.
Here are some pictures a friend of mine took from his home, they were evacuated about 10 miles from us!

Just an Update on Life....

So I know I just posted a blog, but since this is my first couple I thought I would catch everyone up on my life. As some of you already know I am going back to work in a few weeks, I am going to be working at night bartending again. Adam will have the kids at night and I will have them during the day...times are tough and when that happens you have to pull together and make it happen!

Anyways, our newest addition Haylee Rae Rummel is now 10 weeks old and growing more and more each day. She is completely different from Mckenzie who was literally the perfect baby...never cried, ate great, slept great from day 1, and now we have Haylee, it's a whole new ballgame this time. She has kept us on our toes literally since the day we brought her home! But even when I can finally put her down and get a break, I can't wait to pick her back up and get more of her smiles and grins! Mckenzie is such an amazing big sister, she loves Haylee so much, and is such a big helper for me. All I have to say is life is good right now and I couldn't ask for a better life!

Yeah...I am a blogger!!

Hello All,
Today is the first entry in the Rummel Family Blog. Laura and I thought it would be a neat way to keep in touch with the family and post the daily happenings in our lives! I know life takes over sometimes and can keep us from keeping in touch with our friends and family or sending pictures as often as we should. So now anyone can come onto our blogs and catch up on the stuff going on in our daily lives, with the kids and events...don't worry this will not replace still sending pictures or calling of course, but it helps when life gets busy and hectic!
Over this last weekend we all went up to Lemoore to Mark and Stacie's house for Ryleigh's 1st birthday party. We had alot of fun, and always love seeing all the cousins together.
