My Child Is The DEVIL!!!!!

So almost 41/2 years ago I had our Beautiful baby girl Mckenzie, through the last 4 years she has given me so much joy. She is incredibly smart and witty, funny, sweet, lovable and can be a challenge at times!

Almost 2 years ago Adam and I brought the 2nd joy of our lives into the world, Haylee. Haylee and Mckenzie are pretty much the complete opposite, Haylee is energetic( she can't sit still for one moment) crazy, fun, fearless, total daddy's girl (which by the way I hate). She is also super smart, counts 10 sort of, says her ABC's and wants to go potty on the big potty (which she does 1/2 the time) The 2nd child always grows up quicker due to watching her big sis all day long....she thinks she is 4 also.

Let me just say we love our beautiful girls!!

But Haylee is definitely our challenge.....

She is into everything, and when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING!!!

The other day, just about every day for that matter...well here's how my day goes....

I love her but she is going to be the death of me!!!:)

100 Degrees and it's only April!!

So today was another day of it hitting triple digits at our house...YUCK!! I love warm weather but hate HOT weather. But I sucked it up and we played a while outside today, the girls had a blast!!

Also this morning while I was doing laundry, Haylee decided that she was going to get herself dressed....she was very proud of herself!!

Good Old Family Fun!!!

So we had a really great Easter, I cooked a big meal for my whole Family....Turkey and Ham, potato's &gravy and broccoli casserole. Oh and brownie's for dessert! Laura, Doug and the kids had hockey tournaments all weekend, so they didn't make it. We had an Easter egg hunt and played outside all day! By the end of the day we cleaned up and gave the girls baths and we were all literally in bed by 8:00 sharp...it was a long day!

Today I met my friend up in Long Beach at this really great park called Heritage Park, they have these giant size playhouses with slides and stairs inside and duck ponds, where we fed the duckies. A huge playground, and fountains everywhere, it was really cool. The kids had a blast and were very worn out by the end of the day. 2 days in a row w/out naps, once again the kids were in bed by 7:45.

Back to the grind tomorrow, the start of my work week. And so lovely that we have just switched uniforms to all black, black slacks and black tops....which I am so excited about, but not excited to have to go and buy new and cute stuff(for work)!!

Finally......I can't believe it has been a month and 1/2 since I blogged last. I just can't find the time to sit down and do it these days!:) Well, I sit on face book for 20 min a/day so I probably have time I just haven't done it! Anyways I guess I probably haven't blogged b/c truly not too much is happening around here, same old. My babies are getting so big, Kenzie is 4 going on 13 and Haylee wants to be 4 or sometimes thinks she is! I guess that's just how it is when you have older siblings. They are AMAZING, Kenzie is doing so great in pre-school...she loves her friends and loves her teacher(Mrs. Leslie), Mrs. Leslie is coming over to house for an in-home visit today. If you want her to come over(optional) she spends 20-30 min at your house doing something of your child's choice. Kenzie wants her jump on the trampoline....I told her that maybe playdoh could be a back-up plan just in case she doesn't feel comfortable jumping!!:) She has been having tons of play dates with friends from school, which is awesome for her and myself! Once a week she goes to her friend Catie's house and once a week they come over to our house, it's a great break for me and gives me and Haylee time together!

We just cut 3in. off Kenzie's Hair..I would kill for her hair!!


Haylee is doing so amazing as well, she is so smart...yeah I know I am a tiny bit biast, but I think b/c she watches and hears everything Kenzie does she picks everything up so quickly. She is my little ball of fire and has such an outgoing personality, she is itty-bitty and acts like she is 5ft tall!

It is crazy how opposite they are....Kenzie is my sweet, cuddly, PRINCESS(most of the time) and Haylee is my little devil, ball of fire and energy, and only wants to cuddle with me if Kenzie is!

Life with me and Adam is pretty much the same..C-R-A-Z-Y!! We are both so busy, I feel like we go weeks at a time without seeing each other for more than 5min., but we sneak our time when we can and throw a date night in there about once a month. My mom is the most amazing help with the girls and us working so much!

So Mom(Bonnie) was just in town and she did what grammie buns is famous for...Disneyland with Kenzie, Oh how she loves Disneyland!!Thanxs Buns:)

Papa Rick is coming into town this weekend, and that should be cool b/c he hasn't seen the kids in about a year and 1/2.

Last but not least, I have been thinking a lot lately of how I can get healthy and back into fighting shape, with my kids who don't let me work-out! So I have come to a decision, I am setting a personal goal for myself...I am going to buy myself a really nice dbl jogging stroller and I am going to start running with the girls, and by my 29th b-day I want to run in a 1ok!!...maybe a 5k we will see how long it takes me to get to that point, but 1 way or another I am going to be determined and DO-IT!! I will keep you posted!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY.......so many to wish many more to!!

O.K so we have had a lot of birthdays in our family lately, and I have not been good about keeping up lately. SORRY!! So I want to blog about all my nieces and nephews who have grown 1 year older lately!

January......

1st there was Austyn, who is right on Kenzie's heels of now being 4! OMG Stacie where did our little monsters go, still monsters but not so little anymore. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUSTYN!!

February.....

Then came Taylor, I hear he had a big sleepover on Friday the 13th. We are sad that we did not make it out for either birthday this year but we were definitely thinking of you the whole time! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAYLOR!!

Today is a big milestone in my sister-in-law's house her twins are turning 16!! Holy crap, That means so may things at that age, the biggest of all that means they will be driving soon....SCARY!! I can't imagine McKenzie turning 16 it seems like a lifetime away. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY A.J and ALI!!!

Soon to come will be RyRy and then Jack will be 2(that's hard to believe) and right around the corner little Miss Haylee will be 2 also. Everyone is growing up and it makes me little sad, I keep telling Adam let's please have 1 more.....Today! Maybe in a year or so!

I am a nervous wreck!!

So Adam and I came home tonight to find a Large notice on our mailbox......Be very cautious, there has been 3 break-in's and burglaries in our small neighborhood in the last 6 days. They have been watching the homes and when the husbands leave they enter the house while the Wife/mom and kids are home. One happened at 5:45 am, 2:00 pm, and 9:00pm. I don't know if they were break-in's or possibly knocked on the door and then forced entry. We have 1 measly little lock on our front door and told Adam that immediately need to put a chain lock on the top of our door!! I have my back door open most days and one of the burglaries was 2:00 f****** in the afternoon, BROOD DAYLIGHT!! No reports of anyone being hurt that I know of, but needless to say I am now a nervous wreck!! Adam leaves super early in the morning and gone all day, and then I come hope super early in the morning from work, so it scares me. The notice says be aware of people you don't know, we just moved in I wouldn't know a strange person even if I did see them. Just had to vent a little bit!!

JANUARY......

O.K. so I know its been a while since I blogged, but I just haven't been in the mood.It is almost the end of January and It literally just feels like we had Christmas, I know we sorta did but I mean like last week! My days and weeks just kind of blurrrrr together these days and sometimes just have to look at my calendar, not to see what activities we have planned but to see what day of the week it is!!HaHa. So my last blog was about my New Years resolutions and let's see I have kept almost all of them, Adam and I had our date night this month and my mom said that at least once a month if not twice, she will take the girls for a sleepover so that we can make date night a priority(we love grandma). I also have been keeping up on my housework, and I tell you I feel so much better about my days, way more accomplished if I get my house in order! I have been trying to sleep more when I can, and me and the girls have definitely been spending more time outside!! One of our X-mas presents was a trampoline and the girls LOVE it, most days I can't get them off(1 of the best x-mas presents ever). As for working out, I have good intentions every day, but I have not been succeeding. I need to just start jogging with the girls in the stroller, I really would love to go to the gym, I prefer the gym, but my kids hate the gym daycare and I get called out within 10 min no fail. Also I have not been taking to dog out:( poor poochy, I got him a new collar and leash and everything, so maybe I can start knocking both of those out at once!!

Other than that life around here is pretty much the same, busy and exhausted. I feel like my kids make it through their days with constant fighting and bickering, and then for 1 brief moment they LOVE each other.



Kenzie is doing great, she comes home from school and amazes me everyday with something new that she learned. She wants to wear nothing but dresses, even if it's pouring rain. I think Adam and I are going to put her in ice skating lessons. For me I am hoping that will satisfy her wanting to skate, b/c if you ask her she says she wants to play HOCKEY!! Um daddy says yes and mommy says no, so we are gonna try this!

Haylee is doing great also, she is talking like crazy and really well, she is a complete spitfire and keeps me running(Haylee is my Austyn). She is a daddy's girl all the way! She is almost 18 months old now and still itty-bitty, but she is my little firecracker. She understands everything that you say and can respond to most things. I told Adam a couple weeks ago that I wish we could afford it right NOW, b/c I am ready to have another one, Maybe hopefully in a year or so!!

So if anyone knows Kenzie, you know that her Snow White dress is her favorite dress-up dress and it is totally forbidden for Haylee to even look at, so one day while Kenz was at school she wanted to wear it.HeHe

And just so we are all aware, this is what my loving, wonderful husband teaches our kids while I am @ work......don't worry it's not opened(thank goodness)Monkey see-monkey do!!
