5 Months old Today!!

Haylee Rae Rummel is 5 months old, where has the last few months gone....it's kinda all one ig blurrrrrrr. But it has been a good blur! Life is pretty much the same, exhausting, frusterating, busy, but exciting, accomplished, and never dull
and always full of LOVE!!

Life's little Rewards!!

My kids are so amazing and wonderful to me, I truly love them more and more every day. It seems to me that they make tiny strides everyday to become little people and not just my tiny babes anymore! I am completely 50 & 50 on this subject, because I absolutley love every milestone that my kids pass by and it makes me a very proud Mommy to watch them accomplish something that they have been working so hard at...whether that be finally getting that binky into heir mouth all by themselves, or rolling over or even Yes pooping on the pottty! I admit that also every milestone that they pass also makes me very sad, they are growing up and doing it way too fast! Don't get me wrong the night when I finally don't have to get up in the middle of the night anymore will be amazing, but that just means Haylee is that much closer to crawling, walking and turning 1. And when Kenzie finally gets this whole potty training thing down 100% will be probablly one of the most rewarding to date, but then again that just means she is just one step closer to being my LITTLE LADY not my BIG GIRL anymore!!
I hope I am not going to be that mom, you know the one, that crys at every event in their kids lives....but let's be realistic, there's a pretty good chance of it. Haylee finally rolled over the other night and I screamed and got so excited, and Adam says to me oh yeah she did that a few days ago! My eyes welled up and I was so sad that I missed that 1st moment because I was working!! Oh well I mean I guess am not going to see 100% all the time, but it still sucked.

McKenzie is on her 4th day of potty training and she is doing so amazing, I think she is really kind of amazing herself. Every time she goes we sing and dance....pee pee in the potty! pee pee in the potty! and so on.......but she loves it and feels like she did good. I am extremely PROUD of her!

Adam and I are doing great, life is crazy and busy right now, we don't get to see a whole lot of eachother latley but we try to make the best of our moments! Bare with me cause I feel like I might get a little cheesy. But life in general over the past few months has been tough and it makes me truly feel so incredibly blessed to be married to Adam, I feel like I won the jackpot! Our Families have been so amazing through these tough times and we love you all so much! Things are going to turn around and 2008 is going to be an amazing year, I have a feeling and I am always right!!:)

So over the last few days we have been really working on our potty training woth Kenzie! As you know she has been very resistant to the idea of wearing panties and going potty like a big girl. My pediatrician kept telling me not to push her, even though I was very frusteratd. He said that It is a bad idea to start potty training when kids are not ready, and when your child is truly ready it will be so easy! Believe it or not, she is doing so well. I think the big kicker that put her over the edge was that Grammie "Buns" got her an M&M candy machine dispenser for Christmas and We saw the perfect opportunity to use that as her reward system for going potty! It is working like a charm, everytime she goes she gets a penny and puts it into her machine....and out comes 5 M&M's, that by the way are personalized saying Grammie loves Kenzie, so every time she eats them she reads them and says Grammie Buns loves Kenzie.....So cute! It s such a huge milestone to pass and I have been waiting for this on for awhile now. Especialy ever since Haylee was born she just seemed like such a big girl to me. I just keep telling her how PROUD I am of her and that she is doing such a great job!! She actually already had a ton of pairs of undies from trying before, but Santa just brought her some new Tinkebelle and princess panties in her stocking, so those are the Fave!!
