Happy Birthday Haylee....the big 1

Today is a happy day, Haylee is turning 1. We are having a birthday party for her and having all of our family over. We can't believe it's already been a year, this year has been so crazy that it just flew right past us! I will blog more tomorrow after the party when I have more pics. We wish that all of our family who doesn't live here, could be here to celebrate with us also, but we are always thinking about you!!

Weekend Happenings.....
So this weekend we have been able to find some time to spend all together!

Saturday- I opened the bar, which meant I was off by 4 and got to come home and hang with the fam. Our friend Heather and Dan came over to bbq and see the girls. They love our girls and that is why is she Auntie Heather. Haylee is completely walking now and pretty much running....she is my CRAZY child. All she wants to do is climb all over everything and up on top of everything, she doesn't think she has to always take naps, and will growl at you if you take something away from her. She has such a great little personality, and now that she is mobile she is the happiest baby ever, you would never guess that she was a hard baby!



Sunday- Auntie Heather decided to take Kenzie out for a Big Girls day, the are going to see Space Chimps, go have lunch and Heather decided to tell her that she would take her to TOYS R US....can you say Spoiling Much. But I guess that's what you do when their not your own kids! They love their Auntie Heather! So that means that Adam and I have a little peace in our house today, only 1 monster instead of 2, and Haylee doesn't require constant pony or princess play....so we consider that a break all in itself.

Tomorrow I think I am going to take the girls to the Spectrum to walk around and have lunch, and I think Laura and mom are going to come with us, so that will be nice day out of the house, I usually let Kenzie play in the water fountain and ride the carousel so she loves it.Haylee got to eat J-E-L-L-O....What a mess

UPDATE....

I don't really have any energy to blog, but I wanted to give everyone a little update on Miss Haylee. She is starting to WALK! YAY she took about 10-12 steps today. OMG where has this year gone?? Anyways I will blog more later!

It's Been a While.....

So I know I have been majorly slacking on the blogging lately, but life takes over sometimes. If the choice most days is getting in a nap or blogging, napping usually always wins out!! Unfortunately with my schedule some things have to give...like my house usually suffers, and e-mails, blogging and sending much needed pics to the Family. Anyways over the last 6 weeks or so we have a had a jammed pack life, I just recently had my 10 yr. High School Reunion(which by the way SUCKED) but we went and the beginning of the night was fun. Oh yeah and we looked good....isn't that all that matters!:)

Then Mark and Stacie and the kids were down as well as mom(Bonnie) for about 9 days, we didn't really see them all that much, but Mark and Stacie went to a wedding with Adm and I over the weekend to a mutual friend of the boys that we know through softball.

We have also had a few birthday parties for the kids, and on Sundays we have been having MonaVie tastings at our house, Adam has been trying to work on that Venture a little more and try to get some business. He meets with some of the top guys every Thursday for coffee, and just help the guys out(mentoring so to speak).

The 4th of July is tomorrow and I am not sure if we are even going to get to do anything, Kenzie hasn't been 100% the last few days. Oh Kenzie starting going to summer camp last week, and she loves it. Her coaches tell me she does really great and they all love her. She is going to be going Tues, and Thurs, 9-2 throughout the summer! And then in September my big girl will start Pre-school at Bathgate, she is excited to be going to the same school as her big cousin Ry-Ry.

Haylee is almost 11 months old and she is doing Fantastic! She is walking around the house pushing her car or anything that moves across the tile. She is always jabbering away and oh did I mention she's a SCREECHER!! She says DaDa, MaMa, sis, Hi, oh and her favorite is Jax, all day long she says Jax. She is getting so big and she is such a happy baby these days. Great sleeper, o.k. eater and loves to torment Kenzie!

We have a lot going on in our lives but we are always thinking about everyone...here's a few pictures from the last few weeks!

Just an updateSo I just wanted to take a moment and give a little update on the girls.~ Haylee is starting to stand on her own, and has been moving and into everything foe a while now! She is getting 4 teeth in at the moment, poor baby and poor mommy n daddy......teething sucks!! But she is growing and doing wonderful.
~Kenzie is the same bright beautiful girl, she is getting a bit more attitude these days, but she is so amazing. I just entered her in a cover model search for Parents magazine, as I am sure you all know, because Adam or myself e-mailed everyone to vote! This week is kinda my version of a late spring cleaning. We are having a garage sale this weekend, so I am day by day going through my house and finding a ton of stuff to get rid of. Anyways busy as always, but happy and healthy, lots of love to those who we don't get to see very often!! Here are some pics of the girls......So here's what happens in our house when I am too tired for bath time!!

So Yesterday, I was super tired and just had no amount of energy...so Kenzie being the great monkey that she is layed around with me practically all day! I said to her "honey, mommy is just really tired from work, can we just watch some movies in mommy's bed today?" She says "sure mommy, I am really tired too, from picking all my flowers." I know that is such an exhausting task!

So Thanks to Gramma Buns we got Kenzie's Big Girl furniture.....and she loves it! She has so much room to roll around and we now have more storage space than we know what to do with. It is FABULOUS!!!! We still need to do the bead board on the bottom 1/2 of her wall, so the purple will not be there. and get some window treatments and put some stuff on her walls...little things now...some throw pillows for her bed and pictures and stuff.
